Aerospace and polyimide foams

The aerospace H series polyimide foam products can meet the strict requirements in the aerospace field, and are ideal heat insulation and sound absorption materials. Its density ranges from 4 to 6 KG/m³, and it is lightweight. Its outstanding flame retardant performance can meet the flame propagation requirements of the radiation plate in FAR25.856 (a), with ultra-low smoke generation, almost no toxic gases or smoke release, bad weather resistance, acid and alkali resistance, long service life, and no water absorption failure.

Polyimide foam material is used at a temperature from -260 ℃ to 350 ℃. The material can remain flexible and its deformation can be recovered in space. It is a suitable thermal insulation material for space vehicles and spacecraft and can be used in heavy launch vehicles as an important sound-absorbing and thermal insulation material.
